INCI: Lactic Acid

Lactic acid is an ingredient that can be found in professional-grade skincare products. Lactic acid is the powder form of natural lactic acid and Calcium lactate. Lactic Acid is a premium quality Vegan-friendly powder. Derived from milk, lactic acid belongs to a class of ingredients called alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs). Other examples of AHAs include glycolic acid and citric acid.

Lactic acid increases cell turnover and helps eliminate accumulated skin cells on the top layer of the skin.
By using lactic acid the skin gets firmer and thicker.

USE: Lactic acid in strengths between 5—8% is suitable for all skin types, including breakout-prone skin, but best for those with normal to dry, dehydrated skin.

SOLUBILITY: Freely soluble in hot water

APPLICATIONS: Toners, exfoliators, serums
